My skills and experience include
- I am a good business analyst – I am good at looking at organisational problems and opportunities from different angles so I can make recommendations about the best actions to take.
- Technical ‘Translator’ – I have often been the person in the middle who understands what operational people want to achieve but also understands the key questions to ask technical people so that you end up with the best possible solution for the price you can afford.
- I have excellent Project Management skills from spending many years managing projects from start to finish.
- I have good supplier management skills. So, if you need a complex website that you think might be beyond what I can do then I could still be valuable as the go-between to ensure that the technical people or organisation that you use actually delivers what you want and need. If you are spending £10k + on a website then it is worth spending another 10% or so to maximise your chances of getting what you need.
Having said that, the main activity I have been doing since 2014 is designing and developing websites.
